That First Date

So you have found someone you find interesting, asked them out on a date, the answer is YES .Time to feel excited and dream about your upcoming date. This is what you have been hoping and dreaming of.STOP.That is OK but remember that there are plans to be made.Preparations that are crucial to the success of your date.First impressions can be long lasting and first to come to mind when your date thinks of you.Firstly it is probably wise to set an early date so that the enthusiasm first felt still remains strong. After all,if you set it for weeks away you may start to get misgivings.Your date may be thinking-why wait so long,is there some problem they are not being told, and with weeks to think about it,may end up changing their mind.
Next thing to think about is where are you going on this first date.It is probably best to choose somewhere that is not to formal such as an expensive restaurant. After all you both are probably already feeling quite nervous without having any extra and unnecessary stress on you.You would be best served with an informal and fun type place,so you can relax and get to know each other. But remember that informal does not mean you turn up looking like you just got out of bed, with raggy old clothes that you might wear to wash the car.
Evening dates can in themselves cause stress as your prospective date may be worried about other things, such as getting home afterwards,in the dark. After all,at this stage they do not know you.Maybe meeting for coffee or for lunch is the way to go.Choosing your first date in an informal spot, maybe in the middle of the day, whilst taking some of the stress out of the first date also allows you both the opportunity to actually get to know each other, the purpose of the first date.
Last but not least, what topics of conversation.Do not carry on about yourself, how much you have, how wonderful you are.Being a good listener is much more important.Remember that it is important for your date to have good memories of that date for there to be a next date.
Loving singles welcome
